I found this article about a new language discovery,  the difference here according to the article is although there are new languages that are found from time to time, this language light-Walpiri has been studied since about 2002 by a linguist from the University of Michigan.

I found it interesting that the language was developer by the children of a village of aborigines located in a remote part of northern Australia.

This language was classified as new because it is actually a mixture of Walpiri,Kriol(mixed indigenous language) and English, but was void of certain characteristics that qualify it as a new language.

This article and video is from July 2013

  1. That is really cool.Once again children have gone above and beyond what they were once thought capable of. The language itself sounds very melodic and it's amazing that they were able to come up with it.
